Development of pumps with improved anti-cavitation characteristics

When considering the creation of pumps with improved anti-cavitation characteristics, results an in-depth analysis problem pumping viscous liquids at high temperatures are presented. On example technological process evaporation sugar syrup on a film evaporator latest type, occurrence cavitation when was revealed. After analyzing existing machines used for specified operating conditions, critical design and parameters were identified that affect appearance cavitation. Namely, is influenced by reduced diameter impeller inlet, number blades, width blades rotor speed. To study level influence these parameters, method physical modeling chosen, experimental stand designed manufactured. Studies have been carried out operation pump without reducer. The work two- three-blade inducer analyzed, open closed impeller, one two-level blade system investigated. As result data, optimal hydraulic part reducer semi-open chosen.
